About Us

Before forming New A1 Family Co.,Ltd, A1 Family broker’s sale centre was established initially by Mr Khin Ohn and Mr Soe Nyunt in 1982 at Tharlon, a village located beside Yangon-Mandalay road in Myittar Township. Since the beginning, we have been doing trading of chili and onion. Later on more crops and spice such as cotton, pulses and beans, turmeric etc were traded as the business expanded.

As a result of our years of perseverance, diligence and hardworking, we have been getting achievements in this line of business and we have wider network than before. Nowadays, we have branches at Meikhtila, Pyawphwe, Myingyan, Kumae, Yaewoon and Myittar. We are mainly distributing chili and onion the whole Myanmar, in particular, Yangon market through distributor channel and also importing to China market through traders under A1, One Star and A1 Special brands.

We set up New A1 Family Co.,Ltd in 2013 in order to be in line with modern  market oriented economy due to open up of Myanmar. Our main office is located at 74th Street, between 28th and 29th Streets, Mandalay. Moreover, we have already built a factory at Kumae, a place where chili and onion are mainly cultivated in Myanmar.

In recent years, Myanmar Government and consumers got awareness on containing high level of mycotoxins, (especially aflatoxin b1) in chili powder that can cause carcinogenic diseases. As such, most Myanmar consumers are worrying on increasing number of cancer patients and Myanmar FDA started taking action and necessary control measures.

We would like to take this not only as an opportunity, but also a sustainable development for our business. Thus, we are planning for production and sale of healthful chili powder (coarse and fine), other culinary crops and spices both locally and internationally.

The visions of our company are as follow.

  • To care to the health of consumers and to ease their worry by providing healthful, aflatoxin free, chemical free, ready to use, pure and fresh chili powder, culinary crops and spices.
  • To produce premium quality value added products not only for locals but also for export to earn foreign currency.
  • To establish contract farming system with farmers and educating them on know-how, to provide stable market conditions for crops, to create jobs for locals, also to raise living standards of farmers in the region
  • To produce culinary related products as import substitutes
